Gibson might actually have a case, but who knows ...

What I find suspect is that Gibson has already licensed a Les Paul and Explorer shaped guitar for use in Guitar Hero.

About 10 years ago one of my colleagues landed a 'dream' job at a large American guitar producer - keen musician and was really looking forward to it - 6 weeks later he was back. Apparently they had spy cameras everywhere and recorded all the employee phone calls and generally the working atmosphere was one of paranoia.

I was gutted as he left before he could get me a 335 on the employee purchase scheme! (Damn, now you'll be able to guess who it is....)
