I'm trying to find a tele scratchplate with room for a humbucker in the neck. They are nowhere to be found online! Anyone know a decent source for stuff like this or is it a custom job for my local repair shop? Not that I'm looking for something exotic, just a simple black scratchplate with enough space for a MQ...

I made a custom strat style scratchplate, and it was really doddle. The material is easily available online.
A Dremmel helps.

It was either warmoth or the 2nd link I used when I got a custom one made for my strat. It had a floating trem with a different spacing then normal and floyd rose spacing. It was still off by about 1mm on one part so I had to dremel that bit but it was my fault for not sending a tracing like they suggest.
You can see it hiding in the back:

Ah axesrus! I thought they might have something, but couldn't remember the name of the shop.
Thanks folk, I'll lock this now. Now I have to decide if I want a neck pickup at all, a rocking esquire might be a better idea...

Locked at the OP's request. :)
