Im pretty new to selling on ebay and i'm selling a pedal on there at the moment, someone has emailed me through ebay asking for a buy it now, there are people watching it but nobody has bid yet, if i wanted to take the guy up on his offer, how would i go about it? im not sure if i can just end a listing early if there are no bids yet. Any help is appreciated.
Cheers

all you have to do is go through "my ebay" and revise your listing and add a buy it now price.
you cant do this within 24hours of the end of the auction though
-
Just cancel your listing then you can sell it to the guy and not have to pay final value fees.
Mind you it's pretty common for people to bid later on in listings.
If the price offered by the guy is ok and your happy then fine but if it's too low I would just continue with your listing.
-
so its ok to cancel if nobody has bid?
-
Yes. You can cancel a listing even if someone has actually bid as well.
The only thing that can stop you cancelling a bid is if it's past 12 hours to the end of the auction.

I think for the buy it now thing you need to have a certian feedback rating. Wait till the end and see what happens, many snippers wait till the last seconds to bid.

cheers for the advice guys, i think im gonna pull it and sell it to this guy he's offered me £180 including shipping for the GT8. i dont think it'll reach any higher than that if i let the auction run, what do you guys reckon?
-
Anyone gonna tell me not to before i pull the item? i think thats a pretty good price to let it go for. i've got over 20 people watching it but nobody apart from that guy has asked any questions.
-
yeah I'd let her go for that
