LEMMY!! (http://www.marshallamps.com/product.asp?productCode=1992LEM&pageType=OVERVIEW)
A modified 1992 100W Super Bass head.
-
Hmmmm - I wonder who will be next?
-
I can't see most bass players being able to pull off a hybrid bass/guitar amp like that... Nick Oliveri could rock the living hell out of one though. 8)
-
interesting... i wonder if they'll sell many
-
I want a super bass, but not with that decorative stuff on it.
-
It's an easy way to get a Super Bass reissue out I guess. Looks minging though.
-
good for lemmy, must admit i'd love an endorsement deal to keep me going when i'm collecting my bus pass :P
-
That is a super badass amp. I want one!
-
Is that superbass as in Fender Superbass? If so, I want one :D
-
Err, it's Super Bass as in Marshall Super Bass Tom!
Are you getting confused with the Fender Bassman?
-
hahaha thats the one  Have heard good things about those.
-
Hybrid though, it's a combo of a Superbass and a Superlead.

Apparently Marshall don't pay anyone anything for signature models according to the guy who designed the vintage modern
They do if for 'love'
-
surely marshall will pay him a small amount if they sell well enough, like any other endorsement deal? i'd be suprised if they didnt, i know zakk wylde and kerry king do get a small bit from it.
-
You would think so - I don't know to be honest but allegedly not
-
i suppose good on them if its true i must admit. unlike fender or dean. i've not had much experience playing dean mind, but dean are very 'HEY YOU PLAY THE GUITAR AND ARE THE FLAVOUR OF THE MOMENT, HAVE AN ENDORSEMENT!!!' :P
-
Could sound awesome, but it looks stupid

... I think that you just described Lemmy...
-
... actually Mr Kiliminster, if you read this forum, I didn't mean it, and Mr Bump is a false name...
-
that amp looks queer as fvck, how is Lemmy only getting a signature now in this day and age, they have been around for so damn long.
-
I have no idea why they've released this amp what so ever.

Yeah, he said it about Slash didn't he? They get full extra support but no money.
SUrely they also get free amps so that would count as a monitary incentive of sorts?
-
Also the free extra advertising for whatever project the 'artist' is about to release to me counts as a financial benefit
But I'm just cynical
-
That's a cool amp.
I wonder how it will sound with a guitar.

Marshall has been trying to crack back into the bass amplifier market for a few years now.
