I saw this on ebay and GAS attacked big time I got the seller to knock £50 of f the buy it now price too :p
Its an esp LTD SC-607 its the non-baritone version (the baritone is on the list ). It plays even better than the one I played in a shop the neck is just the perfect size for me, much better than the schecter, jackson and maverick 7's ive had, its a little more rounded and fuller than the jackson and the maverick but thinner and faster than the schecter.
The thing that really suprised me though was the tone from the EMG 81-7's. I've never really been an EMG fan, and I was expecting to be ripping them out when I had the money and put some bkp's in, as the one I tried in the shop was an older maple bodied version with EMG 707's in it and that sounded typically EMG - a bit brittle and sterile. But these are so much better not quite up to miracle man standards but close! They really suit my engl down to the ground, granted they are not the best for clean but I dont care that much about that I didnt buy it to play clean. having said that I might get one of those new 707TW's with the single coil to put in the middle to give it a bit more variety.
Anyway heres some pics:

Very nice indeed :D

Gorgeous!!!
Such great guitars tbh.
Perhaps the best 7 strings on the market?
-
Out of curiosity , what is the point of having the two humbuckers closer together? a bigger tone when mixing?
Nice though, love the bare wood look of some guitars.
-
Very nice - I love the thru neck
-
one's always bigger than the other ;)

One testicle is naturally larger than the other.

Yeah Its the best 7 Ive ever played (although a blackmachine could possibly top it :p)
@badgermark
The middle pickup has a bit more bite than it would in the neck and when mixed distorted chords sound huge. (although you've got to be careful with how much bass you've got dialled in.

Great looking guitars you have there Mr B.l

Looks beautiful. I'm a BIG fan of that type of finishing.
Looking at the pickups though, I think that I'd struggle with my picking - not much space between the PUPs....

Same thoughts myself.
I prefer the look of the 6 string, but the 7 string seems to have more of a gap to pick in

ZOMGZ my jaw almost dropped when i saw the natural finish :o I have only seen them in black! All those black ESP owners are missing out  (pun partially intended)

Thats never been a problem for me really as I dont pick that deep and I set the pickup slightly further away for a bit of a volume drop for better cleans. as my Engl thunder's gain control is shared so it saves me having to roll the volume off as much. even before i set them lower it never got in the way then come to think of it.

The natural versions of the 7's are very difficult to come by. This is only the second one Ive seen on evil bay thats why I just had to have it. Now all ive got to do is find a natural finish baritone version to complete the collection

Get the new 8 stringer! That'll teach em  - though i am not sure just who the "em" i am referring to are. Nonetheless the new 8 will slay!

It probably would, only problem is I have quite small hands So I think an 8 might be a bit of a stretch for my little stubbies.
