I was looking at that the other week, I'm very curious as to how it measures up to the G-System.

Same here, I would kill for a G system but this seems a little better in the cost department. Although it lacks amp channel switching and the ability to put certain effects before the pre-amp and the effects loop. But considering its TC it'll probably blow pretty much every other multi-effects unit out of the water.

I thought this would be alot more expensive than the G system - Its got analogue bits if I read right?

Like a less digital G system?

its around £450-500. Its got analog od and distortion (which is still digitally controlled) the other 6 effects blocks (the g-system has 9) are digital but are taken from the g-system. Its basically a cut down g-system with funky digitally controlled dist but without all of the extra switching and external loop options. still looks pretty awesome tho....

Yup, and thats probably what would sway me to the G-System, being able to have say, a preset chorus'd clean, then using another preset to switch the amp to the other channel. It'd be killer.

Which is why I would probably Save a bit longer for a G-system. As I got so used to my HD147 (RIP) when I was gigging just pressing one footswitch for a completely different sound was awesome.

Not sure if I'd need one though... I'm not sure if I want any more effects any more... I've stripped right down to Guitar, amp, delay and wah. Nuno type thing.
