I was in Denmark St today and tried out a Telenordia TK-23 Kompressor, with a custom shop 2 grand strat into a Fender Vibro Lux amp 8) It sounds soo nice, I ordered one! :D It was in Vintage and Rare, what a tasty shop!
-
oh God, when I was there I went to this store... here is like a 70's LP or Strat is VERY hard to be found...
So I did what my mom used to tell me when I was young in a department store: get your arms in the side of your body to don't break anything and just look! :D
about the pedal! Nice!
Love botique ones! 8)

I bought the Kompressor by Telenordia! 8) Turns up Monday.
For those snappy clean funky riffs is there anything else anyone can recommend? I did read something about using slapback delay but need to know more about it.

Yes you don't want to be charging around like a 'Bull In A China Shop' in there! Which was how my mum used to describe me! Nothings changed either

Funny I'm thinking about a compressor ATM and I was looking @ V&Rs site, your model was one that was reccomended to me
I was worried when I took my son in there, as hes like an fecking octopus and just has to touch everything within reach.
V&R + Wunjo are the only shops on Denmark St with a decent attitude
They have such nice stuff lovely little Ric 250 model and an amazing Epiphone Newport bass (perfect for those Reggae & Dub bass lines that I can't play). I also managed to bump int the absolutely mad Julian Cope in there on 2 occasions

You seem to live there Johnny, Denmark St that is. I'm somewhat jealous, but I'd choose Glasgow over it.

My father-out-law's best ever quote........ "Would you stop it, it's like shopping with a feckin rabbit"

That's cos Glasgow's awesome. Merchant city with it's £4 per pack of strings and Guitar Guitar and it's walls of guitars... And the friendly locals of course...

^ I went to a guitar shop in Govan once, the part where Rad C Nesbits from so I understand! Anyway it was my mates 40th and we used to jam all the time when he lived down here so in the cab from the airport on route to Pollockshaws we went to Govan and bought him loads of leads and strings. He was singing for his supper in the pubs up there at the time and was well pleased with his present. Well it's better than a poxy jumper!
Denmark St is great. Although some of the sales patter in certain shops makes me want to slap them! Vintage and Rare is just the mutts nuts. 8)

A bit geeky of me  but 'bull in a china shop' has been proved as myth - watch this vid for evidence (from about 2:20 on)

If it's glasgow uni then it would be the Byres Road Greggs, not bad, the sweet shop next door is awesome!
Or the one closest to Strathclyde uni is on the corner of George square. I know Glasgow and Greggs well... And Johnny it's spelled Pollokshaws, and I live round the corner from it

Pollokshaws, yes that'd be right. A Pollock is a fish!
So do you drink in the Geogic? I've been in there a few times, what a boozer that place is!

Anyway back on topic!
I got the Telenordia TK-23 Kompressor today from Postman Pat!
Well all I can say is it's just sooooooooooo nice! Bye I'm off to my rig again! 8) 8)

Played clean this pedal gives a lovely sustain on single notes and a snappy, funky tone with chords on my Strat with Irish Tours.
With some overdrive set around 5 and a Cold Sweat the tone is so full sounding it's just gorgeous!! The sustain is amazing!
Get one! 8)

Well there was some good hoof to eye coordination going on there but they still broke stuff, imagine if that was a Ming Vase!

Very nice, I have the Telenordia TA 100 overdrive it produces clean and sweet overdriven tone.
