... over a Santana backing track. We're not trying to cover the song, just using the backing because it's good to improvise over.
I'm playing my les paul with Crawlers, on clunky the middle position. 1st and 4th solos is BKP, the rest is not, so I thought I wouldn't spam the forum's upload service. Anyways, have a listen.

I apologize for all the Crawler clips and none of the Mule-7s. I'll have some Mulin' up at some point, bare with me.

Lovely playing - Very thick sound.
How did you guys arrange this?
-
Thanks. The other guys are from a forum I used to go to. We've done a few other jams like this in the past.
-
Sweet!

So wait, this is you and someone else playing together over the internet? That's pretty awesome. And if this was all improvised, even more awesome. But regardless, fantastic playing, and I love the sound.
-
Thanks a lot! I improvised my parts except from the obvious references to the original tune. I know the 5th solo has some composed parts aswell (the harmony parts) otherwise I believe it's all impro.

How long have you been playing? I'm always impressed (and jealous) of people who can improv really well like that. I can improvise in pentatonics if there's no key change, and that's about it.

Nice thick tone!

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I've played about 8 years now. The two other guys, something like 12 yearsif I remember correctly.

Crawlers sound the best out of the lot, and DAMN do they sign! mutha $%a!
EDIT: Ahem, that is "sing" not "sign".

Wait till I get new frets! Then I'll be able to bend more than a semitone without the note buzzing out.

Top dog playing there. :)
I wouldn't mind a seven-string. But I think my hands are too small.
