so i lent my holy diver for a friend (and borrowed his miracle man) and he installed it in my ex-les paul copy (brazilian mahogany, imbuya top, brazilian tosewood fretboard)
he recorded this clip with my Wattsom Cube 60 (the cr@ppiest 15w cube ever, shitety 8" speaker), a solid state Zambelli 5150 pedal (FET instead of tube gain stages) and a wylde overdrive clone (gain on 0) as a booster
he recorded 2 tracks with a cheap pc mic

It's surprisingly well recorded, this proves that music is all about the playing itself not the equipment.

yeah, i couldn't believe he used my ultra cr@ppy amp

i have to disagree about it
it's really hard to capture a boosted and distorted tone from a solid state 8" cube with a pc microphone and double tracking it without adding A LOT of noise (and that's why most people on this forum record stuff with line 6 gadgets even when they have high end real amps)
i really don't know how the hell he did it
he was out a month without internet, so probably he had a lot of spare time

surprising good is right!
