Title: Can you buy a calibrated set seperately?
Post by: Modular1 on April 01, 2008, 09:48:44 PM
what i mean is could i buy one pickup, then using the details of the order, get another one to make up a set at a later date?

or do they have to be at the workshop and made at the same time?

Yes -  if you buy a bridge model on it's own then you get the same bridge pickup as you would have got if you'd bought a calibrated set.

& if you buy a neck pickup later on to add to your existing bridge model, you'll effectively have a calibrated set.

The "calibrated" bit just means that it's the corresponding bridge & neck models in the same box for a bit less money....
