Yep - looks like Rick Harrison (Music Ground ) pretty much owns most if not the entire street. No matter what shop you are in - you are in the same shop.
A shame in some ways as I liked the diversity of many shops

It's annoying that isn't it.
But what's the point in the thread here?
Just showing some nice pics, or am I missing something?

No - just showing off the retro vibe of the shops I think
Johnny is a keen photographer and I guess he liked something of what he saw.....

I hope the staff in the Music ground down there are more sociable and willing to help then they are in the leeds one.
Theyre just plainly rude and unwilling to help unless they know you personally.
Its also very overpriced.

Just showing some pics Noodle. I don't own any shares!
There are still lots of shops that don't look like that inside though.
Lots of tourists pass through these shops at weekends. Just pick up guitar and things can happen...

I totally agree, every time I've been in the Music Ground in Leeds they've been seriously unhelpful.
I do enjoy going in the upstairs part where all the old guitars are though.

Yes in the upstairs part they are slightly more helpful and the atmoshphere isnt quite as tense

What's the shop when you go upstairs and the Jackson/PRS 'room' is straight ahead, then you U-turn from the stairs and you're in this huge room and to the left is a 'supposed' sound-proof room?
It's on the corner of the Denmark St. (or abouts, still a corner)
-
^Soho Soundhouse?
I quite like that newspaper-clipping-come-wallpaper look actually, Johnny.
-
^ Yes that's on Charing X RD Soho Soundhouse near the corner of Denmark St.
I like the wallpaper and Retro Vibe too Sambo. 8)

I remember the magazine "Beat Instrumental" when it was published. How sad is that?
