Hi guys,
I've read many good things about thesep pickups, but I have never have the oportunity to hear them in person, so that is why I need your advise.
I'm searching for 2 pickups (bridge and neck), humbuckers, to put them in a ESP Explorer Custom (old shape). An all Mahogany body and neck with ebony. I also have a Diezel herbert with a Diezel 4x12 Frontloaded.
What I'm looking for is something aggresive, good for metal riffs, BUT with clarity, great for solos, and with a nice melodic response... (I dont like the uber saturated pickups, that you play and you hear a blurry sound) I actually have a 81-81 set, and I dont like it at all !!!
Just you to make an idea... I'm playing Melodic Metal, from Dream Theater to IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, DARK TRANQUILLITY... so that is why the pickups must be AGRESSIVE LIKE HELL, but great in melodies as well... capable to do some Dream Theater style solos and riffs.
The guitar will be tuned to C.
I'm going to get a Miracle MAn for my Caparison Angelus, and want to try something different with this guitar...
Tim has told me about the Rebel Yell... What do you all think ??? would be a good option for the guitar, the amp and the music style ??
Also, to make you an idea, here you can hear some of our songs, so you can hear what I actually play:

THANKS !!! and I hope you can help me to decide !!! (It's not easy !!! )

If Tim says Rebel Yell, i'd go with it, after all, he makes them, and he does know best.
And i'd agree, as my Rebel Yells have great clarity, and do Metal just as well as they do Blues, Punk and Rock.

Welcome to the forum. I know your rig well, having played thru Diezel amps at rehearsal for the past few years, both the Herbert and the VH-4.
I would say Rebel Yell or Nailbomb will do what you're looking for.

nailbomb ftw
actually i'd put the miracle man or a painkiller in the explorer and a nailbomb or holy diver in the angelus
