That looks awesome!

Not entirely sure what it's for or indeed how I'd use it...

Holy cow what a tool!! 8)
-
I wasn't sure what it was at first either- but after watching the video...
COOL!
-
I feel I could only use it on one or two songs before it became samey, or until people noticed I was only doing it because for that short moment I felt like Pete Townshend (maybe that choice of words was inopportune... ).

Looks like a fun toy but I doubt I have any use for it in real life.
-
Looking at it closely it's nothing more than a tremolo unit with some midi drum loops added of which the rhythms can be used to set the time of the volume oscillations...
-
Looks kind of interesting, but i guess i would just rather have a looper, i don't really need all that choppy guff. I am very interested in that red guitar in the video though  8)

It also has filtering which increases its usefulness a bit, the m-audio black box that HTH is selling also does 'slicing' (with filtering)

The big ol' Boss GT multi-FX pedals a slicer on them too. They're fun. 8) But I'm yet to use the effect at a gig.

Something similar. The Gig FX Chopper:
