Title: Riff Raff doing ZZ Top
Post by: TomW on April 18, 2008, 11:47:58 AM: Well I finally got my amp repaired so got to try the riff raff bridge that I got from Crazy_Joe, and I'm loving it! Here's a clip of it in my sg through an mi audio crunchbox into my marshall dsl100. The strings are really old because I'm poor at the moment after having to pay for my amp to be retubed so can't afford any new ones, but I'm still loving the sound of it.

Post by: TomW on April 18, 2008, 05:08:35 PM: Mine is about 3mm when fretted at the last fret. It's a great pickup, it took a little while to get use to the lower output compared to the nailbomb and holydiver, but it's perfect for classic rock, which is what I play most so Im really happy with it.

At times I even thought it was doubled in the recording as it was so fat and wide sounding.
