Hey guys.
Has anyone here got a set of Rebel Yells in a LP style guitar?
I spoke to Tim earlier about the Tokai LP and straight away he suggested Rebel Yells, so I ordered a set :D
Does anyone have any experience with them or have any clips etc?
Cheers.

oh yes!!!LP Standard...adds a nice brightness to it...it is meaty..really hear the wood..nice harmonics...I always judge mine by the cleans(I know if the cleans are sweet,I can dial in the dirt with my setup)...the calibrated set is awesome IMO..the neck pup is incredible...I ALWAYS get asked about the PUPS whenever I play
check out clips...with a grain of salt,of course..but the SStevens clip rocks!!!!

Steve Stevens has LP's with Rebel Yells. If I'm not mistaken the clips in the players section made by Steve are done with a RY loaded Les Paul.
They shouldn't be too hard to find, they're sticky.

I've been in love with my Rebel Yells ever since i got them, they sound great even in my cr@ppy Epiphone LP.

Hi, iam new here in this forum. My first post was a couple days ago, so i said that i replaced my 72' les paul custom with a pair of RY pu's. Before i had the original pu's in there, but they been to noisy under stagelight. i replaced it with häussel V+ but i don't liked it. Then i tested the bustbucker pro, but i got a massive problem with feedback. Then 1 1/2 years ago it comes the final day where i ordered a RY Set. When i got the Pu's, in the same half our i put it in my LP and i was absolutly blow away, it really sounds awesome. I play a bogner ecstasy head and in my opinion these pu's are really the best ive ever tried in a les paul. In the next month i planning to customize a Hawaiian Koa strat with an RY in the bridge. The sound samples from Steve Stevens on this site are very authentic how the pu's sounds like.

Thanks for the opinions.
I've heard reports that that may be a bit bright in a Maple Capped LP, but if they are, I s'ppose I can always turn the tone control down a bit :)
If for any reason I don't like or get on with the RYs, I think I'll try Cold Sweats.
