Post by: ibznorange on April 25, 2008, 09:13:12 PM
I just got 2 sets of bkp's ordered

About 2 weeks ago, i ordered a nailbomb 7 bridge for my S7320 with a custom baritone neck, and today i ordered a crawler 7 neck for it, with all slugs. Forgot to mention that part on the nailbomb, but ill just swap em

Also, i have a Kramer fixed bridge vanguard project im working on, ordered a set of AII stormy mondays for it, chrome covers

Im very excited, as ive played on a few different BKPs a few times now, but im just finally being able to get my own

Its possible, with a bit of work. Some bobbins will just take em, others need the threading cleared out,b ut its not a big deal
I replace pickup leads, do magnet swaps and the like all the time, and swap poles, so thats not a big deal for me
shitee, im working on a DIY sustainer for 7 and 8 string guitars

I am unphased by switching metal bits! lol

Im particularly excited about the stormy mondays, as i havent owned any pickups with any sort of particularly low output for like 2 or 3 years. My idea of low output is a dimarzio air norton lol

Ive been lurking here a while. A buddy online was always talking about bkps as being made from pure win and god and sex and such, and i was like hrm, handwound, cool. And then i got to try some by fluke, and was like ZOMG NEEEED BKPs. Just money is only now permitting orders

Im quite excited

Nice one mate, I bet you're going to be uber-stoked with them. Not that you don't know that already.
