May have been done before but I had a flash of insipration when reading Mr Bumps post about Slack Babbath. What would a good cover band name be. One that comes to mind is Hairosmith.
I think Pharaohsmith would be pushing it a bit though.

Along the lines of SB how about Zed Leppelin :P

I sometimes call my acoustic duo "Booty and the Ho-Fish" (Hootie and the Blowfish)
-
I did think of getting the fake teeth and glasses and forming...
The Janet Street Preachers...
Or you could do Prince covers and be called Purple Wayne...
And I still think that for the next Children in Need, Andrew Marr and Neil Morrisey should record something by The Smiths.

If your covering more than one band then you could be called Duvet...
I'll get me coat

Pink Fraud has been done but it is a good one!
My own suggestions
Frank Z and the Mothers of Misinformation.
Aussie Osborne
Punk Floyd
Jew Jackson
Rabbi Williams
Sheik Yerbouti (Frank Zappa)
How's Rick's Testicles? (Ozric Tentacles)
Deep People (Deep Purple)
Stevie just edging spectacular without being too far from average but still being good. (Stevie Wonder)

I am LOVING that last one, lol!
