Hi
I want to buy some new pick-ups for my Ibanez JS100, and I was recommended to come here and try out BKP's.
I have had no experience with BKP's before and just wanted to come here and ask what the best BKP's would be for me to buy for the tone that I am looking for?
I am looking for good pick-ups that give a solid tone for playing 80's style rock / thrash metal as well as something that has a solid tone for playing lead as well.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks!

Welcome.
I think Nailbombs will sound killer in that guitar and do what you want!

+1 I like my 'bombs and I think they'll do what you need.
Welcome to the forum. Always a good idea to email Tim (on the sales email address) and give him as much info as you can, eg bands you like, particular songs that show the tones you want to achieve etc.

Thanks guys!
Just sent an e-mail asking for a recommendation as well so if he suggests Nailbombs as well it looks like thats what I will buy.

Tim recommended the Nailbombs as well so I ordered a set earlier today.

Nice one mate, I'm sure you'll be very happy with them!
Let us know how you get on

Yeah, the Nailbomb is the perfect place to start. Based on your needs, you can further consider the Painkiller or the Holy Diver is great for true vintage British invasion influenced thrash...
