Title: Need old neck, have you got one?
Post by: ToneMonkey on May 14, 2008, 03:29:59 PM
Alrighty guys, has anyone got an old cheapo neck laying around.  I did have one but gave it to one of my mates for a project a while back.  I'd prefer a 3x3 headstock but that doesn't really matter too much.  Not too fussed about condition as long as it's straight.  Let me know what you want for it, I have a fair few bits laying about so let me know what you need in return.

I'm going to knock myself up a 6 string Cigar Box Guitar using some spare parts that I have laying around.  The missus works on Saturday morning so I need something to keep me busy.

Cheers guys.

i have an old 3 a side Eko ranger bolt-on acoustic neck which has got a bit of a twist in it but  could be servicable... Might have some other bits and bobs in the corner of the workshop.. mostly 6-a side stuff i think...   Definately have 1 or 2 strat style necks

Since it's you mate, did you have any interest in the Lollar book.  I have a copy of that laying about if you want to swap it for a strat style.

I have a big stash of necks - 3 aside mainly but also some 6 in line
Many are Aria LP type necks - so Gibson scale length
Most are new and unused.

Ohhhhh, they sound a bit too pricey for a CBG.  Worth keeping in mind for future projects though.  Cheers for the offer
