Hey guys, I currently play a Gibson SG Special, and I am looking to buy a Bare Knuckle Pickup to replace the bridge pickup in it, as I rarely use it and find that it doesn't sound very nice when soloing.
Now I am looking for a pickup that will sound good for palying lead riffs in music such as Shadow's Fall and maybe slightly lighter music such as Avenged Sevenfold.
I am unsure if it is just my current bridge pickup, or do all bridge pickups sound kinda sloshy with high solos? Not enough treble perhaps.
Cheers, and sorry that the message is a bit amateurish, but I don't know a huge deal about pickups.
Ben.

Maybe a painkiller (shadows fall use a lot of mids and crunch) or miracle man (you want high end, the miracle man has high end!)

OK, cool, a friend said I should get a nailbomb, but I wasn't sure what they were like, because I want it to have a hefty amount of gain, but quite a lot of mid, so thanks, i'l see what others say, as i'm open for more suggestions, but painkiller sounds good, i'l check it out now! :)
Thanks a lot!
