allo blokes, miss diane has given me 10 mins off from shovelling the mess our horses leave behoind themselves, thawt id ask about those there Cold Sweat humbuckers for usage in my R8 Les Paul, do you owners feel they get anywhere close to the sound John Sykes generates.

I don't know about the bridge, but I have one in the neck of my Carvin 7 string and I absolutely love it.

john sykes indeed - but they sound more 'blue murder' than 'thin lizzy' to my ears. with brutal gain they start to sound like the Judas Priest album 'Defenders Of The Faith'

I don't do the John Sykes thing (I'm more of an Adrian Smith style player), but I love the Cold Sweat!

They're excellent, and on my PRS very much like that Sykes tone.
