The Tacima CS929 is a six way mains conditioner at a price that no equivalent products can match. Ideal for people are willing to invest a modest amount of money cleaning up their mains.
WHAT HIFI 5 Stars August 2006: "This product really is a no-brainer.This six way mains conditioner delivers truly dramatic audio gains. Compared to our "unconditioned" sound, our refefence CD/amp system enjoys greater separation and focus of sound, and greater clarity and confidence in the midrange. Bass is burlier and better integrated too. In a nutshell, it really does work"
First saw this on the What HiFi? magazine (yes I know I shouldnt get into another money draining hobby) and thought it might be useful for guitars too. What do you think? Good investment or snake oil? I think high quality kettle leads are probably a waste of money but power cleaner sounds worthwhile? Opinions seem divided on these things. I can get one on ebay for about £25...

I bought one specifically to help clear up some feedback problems I was having, and it did help. If you play somewhere with a decent, reliable mains supply, you may never notice the difference, but in my house, and at the rehearsal studio, there is really bad interference coming through the power lines. This product helped clean all of that up, and I'm very happy with it.
