Kinda follows on from Twinfan saying he looked like Dave Grohl *L*
My funniest was when I had hair...long long ago..that I looked like cross between Keanu Reeves..........and Sid little
and lately that I look like Harry Hill (guess it's the bald/glasses thing *L*)
-
As Marc says, I've had Dave Grohl mentioned quite a few times. Plus Dean Cain (The Superman TV series guy) when I was a LOT younger. And fitter.....
-
*L* knew you were good but superman
-
where do i start!!!
Ali G (regularly)
David Baddiel (not so much now)
Shane Ward (Mostly my parents winding me up - but it was occasionally creepy)
David Blaine (i got that a lot a few years ago)
Rob Flynn (one of my mates had a badly printed machine head t-shirt and it looks just like i was sitting in the middle of the band)
Ricky Gervais (one student started this, its probably the least obvious lookalikey for me - but obviously one that sticks)
Basically if someone has a goatee at some point i will get compared to them... if they have a goatee and ashort hair i will get it regularly.... if they have a goatee, short hair and glasses i get it a hell of a lot - hence the Ali G one
-
Stoned guy around the village decided I actually AM Robert Plant... but I think in the mind he's in, he really means I look like him.
Although, I believe last week I was Page :?
-
Wolfgang Van Halen :o

When my hair was a little shorter I can remember wearing jeans, a T-shirt and a swede leather jacket and watching 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape'.
I was a little worried as the character seemed to have been based on me too (even the way he walks into a room and looks around. Mainly in personality rather than in my situation.).
So basically I'm like an inexpensive forgery (not a particularly good one) of Johnny Depp that could do with a session to the gym (I'm not fat but I've had a lull in between skittles seasons so I haven't been able to work, which was where I was getting most of my exercise, and spending money, from. I also can't be bothered to travel 3/4Mile without pavement or transport to get to town.). I could also do with tidying my hair up a bit.
-
Hey wouldn't mind being a cheap copy of Jonny Depp *L*

You don't know where they decided to cut costs!
Seriously though. It's more that character than Johnny Depp himself (at least it wasn't Edward Scissorhands. Is it just me or doesn't the guitarist, and I use the term loosely, of The White Stripes remind you of Edward?)
-
When I was about 18 and had very long straight hair and round-ish glasses, I was walking past a pub and somebody shouted "look, it's John Lennon's son!"
As an adult, I've been told I look like:
Kiefer Sutherland (OK, that's bearable)
Brad Pitt (No, really, don't laugh! But the similarities, if they're there, are really just hair and eye colour and a sort of general Nordic(?) look. I suppose I could be the dwarfish, troll-like brother Brad's parents kept locked in an attic :| ).
Realistically, since I got fatter and grew some facial hair I think I most resemble:

Twinfan reckons I look like Paul Gilbert...
-
early Mr big/racer x or now..ahh cr@p late 80's -90's cd day for me mr big, quirboys etc *L*
-
my mates reckon if I grew my beard for another few months and put on a fat-body suit I could resemble Brian Blessed. that essentially means I look nowt like him, except for a short beard.
our lass calls me Gandalf on account of the beard - again, I'm not close to looking like Ian McKellen though I do share his christian name.
-
Looking @ Dave's pic I thought - Good God, is that Keanu Reeves? Then again, it's probably just me, I don't know why.

Who, me?

More Grohly than Reevesy. It's mostly the hair though.
-
In my more slender, long-haired youth = David Lee Roth.
Early thirties (glasses, less hair, and more weight) = Jerry Garcia.
Lately = Kenny Rogers (pre-surgery).
Sigh.

Yep, I agree.
Currently growing the beard-y too before I see the Foos in Manchester on June 2nd. The missus thought it'd be a laugh for me to go in 'fancy dress'....

Jesus.
Pretty weird though because I am white... :?
-
I recently got compared to the young Leonard Whiting (http://images.google.co.jp/images?q=leonard+whiting&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1) although I personally think I look a more like he does now than he did when he made Romeo & Juliet.
About 10 years ago I regularly got told I looked like Elton John and John Denver, and on one occasion an elderly and rather drunk man insisted that I was Michael J Fox, so much that he forced me to give him an autograph.
I hope he put it somewhere nice.
-
Elton John? I'd be deeply insulted.
-
Jesus.
Pretty weird though because I am white... :?
That's not weird. it's well known that Jesus was in fact white and middle class.

I have that too. Every time I walk into the bar people say: "Jezus, are you here again?"
-
I get told I look like Glenn Tilbrook and as I love his songwriting I am mildly pleased about it. I certainly try to sound like him when I play "Is That Love" in the band.

AND DOUBLE LOL!!!
Yeah I used to get called Jesus a lot, mainly by drunken slags toppling out of pubs and clubs. Obviously have no creativity so they go for the most famous guy with long hair I guess.
Mind you, my nickname at a club I worked at when I was 15 was "Mmmbop" cos I had long hair and Hanson were in the charts at the time, lol.
-
Ow that must have hurt(hanson reference)
-
I try to put a positive slant on stuff like that. Those kids aren't ugly, so I took it as a compliment, hehe. :D

Dude, you're seriously cool!
Turning a Hansen reference into a positive thing, especially given your music (which rocks by the way!), is a phenomenal feat!
I don't think I've been compared to anyone - presumably that just means I'm uninteresting and plain.
I can live with that!

Yeah like that Nad....although which one did you look like..as a kid I know fancied the drummer at the time....until we pointed out it was a boy *L*

I always thought the singing/keyboarding Hanson looked disturbingly like Kate Winslet....
-
you didn't used to live in Hull cause i'm sure that kid said something similar *L*
-
I have been to Hull, but never lived there....thank God. Sorry people of Hull, but.... .
I may be prejudiced because my stepmum is from Hull and I've had to listen to her going on about "Northern" values for most of my life...
Anyway, no, that kid wasn't me. In fact I was 33 when Hanson had their big hit, and it seems like centuries ago.
-
*L* yeah unique place Hull...and that kid would only be about 33 now..prob still a bumming about
-
Donald Sutherland as Oddball in Kelly's Heroes, I can live with that!
-
When I had long hair and was quite a bit skinnier than I am now, I was referred to by a 'friend' as a low-rent early-90s Jon Bon Jovi lookalike.
-
20 years ago I used to get friends who teased me about looking like Michael Knight from Knightrider (David Hasselhoff!)
I've also had Gary Moore (face like a welder's bench as Ozzy once said - surely not!) and I had a load of 80s glam references like bass player from Warrant (Jerry Dixon) and stuff back then
Oh and I have always had the Brian May thing said
-
Edward Woodward - I could have picked this woman up in New York with that one. She was convinced I was Edward Woodward and was saying no to avoid people bothering me! I used to get Michael Caine as well, but I don't see that at all.
-
i did once get stopped by some girls when i was down town who were convinced i was a model they had seen on a photoshoot in france, they followed me round for 10 minutes - my girlfriend still teases me about that one :?

"Not a lot of people know that"........till now
-
Some people say Jack Black - maybe I got an SG because of him?
But could be worse I suppose ... imagine people would say you looked like ...

Lol, cheers dude! :D I dunno, I figured girls thought they were cute, ergo I must be too, heh.

I think it was literally just the long hair thing, but if I had to choose one that I looked most similar to it would have been the older one. Same build and same shape face I think. But I heard girls having arguments about which one was cooler and it was always between the keys player and the oldest one so I was happy.
-
Did it get you dates though
-
Not really proper ones. I used to get my arse felt all the time when I worked as a glass collector in said "seasonal" nightclub. Which I loved, cos there's me, this 15 year old kid getting his arse pinched by 18+ year old girls.
It's a shame none of my mates could actually get IN to the club to witness it and see I was telling the truth! :?
The only offer for a proper date I got was from a tubby girl. She had a pretty face and she was nice to me so I thought why the hell not. She went back to wherever she came from after a week anyway cos the nightclub was in a Holiday park, so the chick turnover was phenominal from week to week. More bumper than a Nissan factory!
If anyone starts humming Summer Lovin' now I'm going to shove my Warlock somewhere nasty.

*LMAO*
