Edwards Les Paul, Calibrated VHII Set.
Xotic RC Boost
Bogner Shiva, Channel 2, boost OFF
TC Nova Delay in the loop
First part is on the bridge PU. In the second part I switch off the Delay and change to the Neck.
Later on i am kicking in the Shiva boost as well as the Crunch Box, which is set with little gain and volume but makes the sound a little smooooother and sustainier.
Here is the clip:

(I made a few mistakes here and there but left them in - attitude and passion counts more than faultlessness ) 8)

That was brilliant man!! Great tone and playing.
Those VHII's sound incredible, they are now sneaking up my list of which BKP set to buy next.

Yeah, they sound pretty darn good

Thanks for this.
Yeah I'm a happy man, as "fixed" some stuff - rewired the Bridge from Vintage to Modern wiring, lowered the pickup a bit, and removed that bloody volume cap that i had installed a few weeks ago. Brought the guitar back to life.
Also the Shiva is loads of fun since I replaced V1 with a Mullard Reissue, the amp is so smooth now.

brilliant as usual, do you make your own backing tracks?
-
do you think i should buy a Les Paul and put VH2s in it?
(don't answer that question!)

well ... let's say it's gonna be hard to get this sound with a Steinberger - though to be fair, I never played one ...

you're right of course, but nevertheless this sounds like a challenge ;) when the miracle man gets reinstalled i don't think the steinberger will make a complete fool of itself.

It's a very clean sound yet distorted, brilliant tones there!
-
omg that does sound gilmour at first i thought it was a link to the recording
also i got a dd-20, but dont really know to do for a gilmour sound. Could give me your delay settings, like type, fx level, feedback, time. Cheers
and is that recording using a coil split?

Excellent! - great tone and well recorded!

Don't challenge me, I still have the Epiphone Les Paul with a Miracle Man bridge 8)

Wow !
I discovered this clip a bit late, but it was brilliant . :D Dave Gilmour on steroids and testosterone patches !
The playing was great - and I love how you 'adapted' the sound/ presentation to show the true flavour of the VHII set, without ever losing the authentic feel of the original Floyd track.
Nice one . 8)
