This time I made the backing track myself, just one track EZ Drummer and one track rhythm guitar and one track solo guitar.
Here is the clip (06:27):

All guitars are:

Effects used:

MI Crunch Box (used here and there - very low gain)
Xotic RC Booster (always on)
TC Nova Delay
Space Designer in Logic post production
Amp/Cab/Mic:
Bogner Shiva EL34
Clean Channel, boost off
Master Vol around 8 o'clock (very low)
Heritage 2x12 Cab, mic'ed on the Vintage30 side
Shure SM57

That was brilliant man!! So clean, what a tone. Made me want to pick up the guitar and play the blues. :D

LOL Thanks.
A lot of the chime/harmonics comes from the RC Booster which gets out the best of Bogner's Channel 1.

you'll have a hard time improving on that tone(!) :)

Thanks :O)
... won't keep me from trying though, otherwise there wouldn't be any reason to get new gear :o)

Hunter - top quality as always. This has always been one of my favourite ZZ Top songs - you have done it justice, I'm sure Billy Gibbons would be happy with it.

What pickup positions were you using there? Sweet tone, really enjoyed listening.

I expected David Bowie's 'Blue Jean' dam! nice bluesy tone, you can also hear when you change the pickup switch

WOW :o Just outstanding man! This has the most soul i have heard from you since your "For the Love of God" clip. Keep it up mang!
EDIT: i am just lovin this clip man! Blues are so much better without vocals!

Awesome, as always... I believe if I give you a Tonante guitar with a 5w Ciclotron amplifier you will make it sound good! :D
