Title: 2 volume 1 tone wiring with 2-conductors?
Post by: Smelly finger on May 26, 2008, 01:22:54 AM
Hey there, I've recently got my hands on a 2-conductor Miracle Man (And I plan on adding a Nailbomb to the arsenal after saving up a bit more) and I've been having a lot of trouble finding a diagram online for a 2 volume, 1 tone, and 3-way setup.

I've seen a diagram on Seymour Duncan's site, but it was for 4-conductors, but they've also had a little narrative for 'single-conductors', which made me wonder if that follows a similar principle to BKP's 2-conductors. Which I'm hoping someone could clear up for me.

Could it be that this set-up is only exclusive for the 4-conductor pickups? :?

I hope not!

Thanks for your time.

Yeah, I'd stick with that Duncan diagram, it's just what you need.

Their "single conductor" wiring is exactly the same thing as BKP's "two conductor" - it's really a single-conductor cable with a braided metal outer shield/ground.

Yeah, you just don't need to worry about taping any wires together, that's all :)
