Russ used to be in Rob (Judas Priest) Halford's band Fight as well as a great band called War and Peace

And he's in a very good Rush tribute band called Moving Pictures:

I enjoyed that. Very rock'n'roll. He's Nigel Tufnel meets EVH. And Eddie is plenty Nigel as it is, this guy jsut got the appearance and stange pressence right.

Russ is incredible. I used to have a video of him somewhere just running through his picking warmups. He has the most ridiculously synchronised hands, his picking is so clean and even. bar-steward

Sounds just like EVH to me Hunter.  I didn't think it was thin at all.

"Greatest guitar solo ever, dude!"

Yes, 'cos let's not forget, music is a competition after all.

What do you expect, looks like he's trying to imitate George Lynch. Definitely got the tone down  :P

Great player although quite boring.

Exactly what I thought.  I've never been a fan of the unaccompanied guitar solo (adding his own drums at the end wasn't a bad idea).

Save yourself the trouble and get a cheap wig, like Mr Parrish did!
