Looks great!

Depends how it sounds as to whether it's worth £800......  ;)

Yeah, I`m cabless at the moment. I`m borrowing either a 2x12 or 4x12 from Zilla music tomorrow or day after though so it should be ok!!

It's pretty much brand new. Only been played a few times.

That looks awesome!

Congrats on a very sexy amp. Now you just need the matching guitar that's waiting for me in customs:

Looks gorgeous!   8)

They retail for around £1300 (I think...?), so £800 seems a pretty good deal.

That guitar would clash horribly, given that the amp is bright white and that's cream!!
I'd go for one white cab and one black cab with that amp :)

Yeah, GAK do them for about £1200 and this is only ex demo in mint condition. Has the amp cover with it, booklets etc. Also I won't have to pay postage!

That's been and gone. It was a good amp but I think I prefer EL34's to KT88's!!

Ideally, I`d have this and a JCM800 2203  :P

Oh my word. I`ve been playing the 1959 into 2 CL80's for a while and it's so feckin' loud!! I had both volumes on 0 and it was loud enough for practice  :P. But then there was no gain as it's non master volume.

Any tips for getting gain out of it with just an overdrive? I tried jumping the channels but I can't hear much a difference?

Cheers

I thought the 1959RR was meant to have more gain but I guess you still have to crank it. PPIMV would help. I'm gonna do it to my Ceriatone this weekend finally cos I managed to find the parts needed. It's a Ken Fischer type II MV and it's meant to be more transparent than the more common Rich mod. I'll let you know how it sounds :)

Oh now I have it dimed (that's right, volume on 10) I can't clean the thing up!
