Title: MQ neck + RY bridge lead clip

I just got a MQ neck pickup so heres a clip of it in my Pearl LP alongside the RY bridge :) You should be able to tell which parts are played with what.

Messed up the delay in the first few seconds, theres too much :\ I blame audacitys built in fx :P

Used my usual setup.. Really like this MQ neck. It sounds quite similar to the Mule neck in my Epi but a little twangier and fatter. I'm debating whether to get a MQ bridge to match, the RY sounds quite nice though.

Playing isnt very good but I like the tone on the first bit before I roll the volume all the way up :)

Thanks :) Heres another one just using the neck MQ. Again the timing is a bit off and playing repetitive but I like the tone :)

I have joined this thread a bit late Tom, but I just had to add to the praise and say that I enjoyed your playing and improv/composition a lot !

It almost goes without saying that you have some lovely tones there too. A further interesting aspect for me -  was to hear the M.Q. neck played by a ' true rocker'  as my own clean, somewhat laid back use of the same pickup had not yet revealed 'the monster within'.

Cheers FF :) I really love how p90s sound and am getting a bridge MQ to match as soon as I get my RY sold (less than a day on ebay now!)
