Hi,
I just bought a '85 Gibson LP Custom. I'd like to change the bridge Pickup which is weak.
What model would you recommend, I play blues to metal. I was thinking about the Blackdog, the Coldsweat or the Rebelyell.
Thanks in advance for your advices

Crawler, no doubt.

I have a 92 lp Custom...i have not played a ry in it, But I have had an AV Mule-it is the deal.....it has bite in the Custom, which is what I look for in a Custom!!!

btw,cant argue with a Crawler,either!!!!

Of your 3 choices, I would go with the Cold Sweat, it can handle the metal with no problem, as it drives pretty hard. If you do want a more powerful PAF sound, then the Crawler will work well.

Thanks
Do you think that with a Crawler it would be unbalanced with the original neck pickup that I would keep ?

I haven't tried Crawlers, but BKP's may just make your stock pickup seem flat and lifeless :P

I would note that the Crawler neck pickup is just a Mule with a tiny bit of a hotter wind, I'm talking like 500ohms or something. Your stock neck pickup will balance fine.
