Title: My New Rig for use with RYs: Dual Rec->Framus 2x12
Post by: RzrbldeSuitcase on July 07, 2008, 09:54:41 PM
Hi all, I'm just waiting on delivery on a new mesa boogie dual rectifier going into a framus 2x12 cab with celestion v30s. I will be using a Schecter c-1+ with a Rebel Yell set.

Has anyone had experience with this amp/speakers with Rebel Yells, any tips, settings to try out that will work best with the RYs? Will the Rebel Yells tone curve go well with this amp?

Should get it tomorrow, so looking forward to it!

Welcome to the forum RzrbldeSuitcase.

I can't help on your question - no experience of any of the kit you mention...

But don't be too worried by adammato's experience - although we're all swapping ideas and our experiences here, trying to get to sonic heaven, remember that "one person's dream tone is another's worst nightmare"

Let us know how you get on...

I have a Standard LP w RY's and they work like a charm with my dual rec-doesn't detract from that modern Boogie saggy tone-however, I mainly use my rec as a power amp in stereo setup because I am A MArk series junkie :D
