Which ones do you like and why?

Thanks!

I'm saving for a Keeley compressor. They sound great, and they're very transparent.

I use a Monte Allums modded BOSS CS-3, works fine for me.

Yep, those are the two that I am currently choosing between.  The Boss seems to compress more and maybe add more sustain.  Maybe not as transparent but I might like the way it seems to add a little spark to the tone, but I go back and forth on that.

make sure you mod that boss - its a shockingly bad pedal otherwise.

i have the opto plus mod too, and its great stuff. i never tried any other compressors, but its good enough to keep me away from trying them.

I've got a Telenordia Kompressor. It's a great sounding pedal, it can be very subtle or give you lots of
squish and sustain but not so over the top that you can't use it. I was going to get the HBE CPR but the shop
didn't have one in stock. I tried against another boutique pedal and prefered it. £180 though.
Those Boss compresors sound awful IMO. The modded versions are supposed to be good though.

Another vote for the Barber Tone Press here,

Lovely and sweet / clear  - and has the ability to blend the compressed and direct signals. It can also act as a lovely clean boost. The setting called 'magic dust for single coils' in the manual is just that .  :D

This is a gd post. I am also looking for one but dont know which.

I spoke to the guy working on gig rig at the london guitar show and he said the keeley was best for my strat but not as good for my LP or a tele. Is this true?

The T Rex one sounds great on youtube but there are so many around.

He mentioned Analogueman does a 2 in 1 compressor which is great for all types of guitar. Does anyone have experience of a good allrounder compressor?

Thanks
