Title: Calibrated Mule set in a Gibson 335 - studio tracks
Post by: MartinS on July 16, 2008, 04:48:36 PM
Hear my trapeze Gibson 335 fitted with calibrated Mules on four tracks at:

Guitar went through an EH Tube Zipper and a Roland JC 120. On one track (Dostoevsky) I turned the gain on the TZ down low to give a bit of tube glister; worked very well. I've now got a Black Finger that does this nicely.

Firstly: great sound.

Secondly: I don't usually like this style but Dostoevsky is a great song.

Thanks very much.

I also did a version with strings in Logic Express on my Mac. It's at the bottom of this page:

I like all the the tracks, but since Metro Song is the first one I listened to, its my favorite.  I have since added them to itunes :P
