This is Axe FX - a Plexi1 model, a tad of vintage small reverb and through a Carvin DCM1000 Poweramp into a 2x12, mic'ed with a single SM57.
Only post pro is a bit reverb and some limiter on the master track in Logic .
I find I can emulate Page's sloppyness in playing rather well ... doesn't mean I have the excellence too

Stop hunter, or I'll have to hunt you! :D
Amazing tones, that way I'll have to plan a guitar to put VHII's
-
That's pretty damn fine - you can hear the air moving!
-
Thanks all.
What I find amazing with the VHIIs is that you can dial back presence and they are still articulate and crunchy, comes out in this clip rather well IMO ...

Very nice dude
-
amazing tone!, but I don't hear "plexi" here at all.
-
Man, that is some excellent tone!

Thanks all, I am very pleased with my rig now.
The only thing I have to do over and over again is to REMOVE effects from my patches. You always go like - ah a little reverb, ah a little delay, and then with the band you switch it all off as it just makes your sound blur.
Getting there :D
