that's ridiculous. much as i dislike emo, it's the principle of the thing. If you're silent when they criminalise something which you don't care about, they could later do the same to something which does affect you.

It's funny in an I-hate-emo way.

Not at all funny in a removal-of-civil-liberties way.  Wait until they start doing the same to hip hop and metal.  No more "br00000talz" in Russia.

That's truly awful.

I don't dress emo or listen to emo music, but this is seriously disgusting. I'm afraid I can't find any humour in a Government which suppresses its people like that.
