Hey guys, I've got a Celestion G12K-100 in a 1x12 and I want to be able to use it along with my 2x12 loaded with V30's into my GH100L but I'm confused as to how I go about connecting multiple cabs.
The speaker inputs are as follows:
1x4 Ohms
1x8 Ohms
2x8 Ohms
1x16 Ohms
2x16 Ohms
Now, both cabs are 8 ohms, with one speaker output.
Any ideas on how I'd go about doing this?
Cheers, Baz.

Basically, you can't :(
You have two 8ohm cabs, and running them in parallel will give you a 4ohm load. As you only have one socket for 4ohms out on your amp, and your cabs only have one socket too, you can't run the two cabs with your head.

Assuming you've got your inputs and outputs mixed up, you've answered your question there.
The amp clearly has a 4 ohm tap on the output transformer, so this provides for either 1x4 ohm cab, or 2x8 ohm cabs.
Connect one cab to each of the "2x8 ohm" outputs.
The "2x8ohm" outputs will be connected to the 4 ohm tap

Sorry I didn't make it clear Martin, there is only one output called "2x8 ohm", which is why I was confused.
Alright then, what would I have to do to enable me to run the two cabs?

Ah, got it. Just had a look at the manual on the Laney site. Very strange way of labelling the outputs! :?
However the good news is that you can do it.
The 2x8 and 1x4 are paralleled on the 4 ohm tap. (In effect they are both the same and interchangeable.)
So you plug 1x8 ohm cab into the 1x4 socket, and the other into the 2x8 socket. This gives a total load of 4 ohms, which is correct for that tapping.
Check out the manual here: http://www.laney.co.uk/manuals/GH100L%20Manual%20-%202008%20-%202.3.pdf (http://www.laney.co.uk/manuals/GH100L%20Manual%20-%202008%20-%202.3.pdf)

That's me wrong again - for about the 100th time in the last week! I'm really not on form am I?
Sorry Baz

Martin you legend, just done it, sounds huge.
Thanks guys.
No worries Twinfan, it's all done now. :D

TF, you were right on the surface of it, only an in depth look at the block diagram in the manual shows how the outputs are connected. 8)
Anyway, take the long view; over 3600 posts of correctness! :)
Glad it worked out, SGT!

My god, I just plugged the Nailbomb'd SG in and got that grin, you know, the one when your tone is just brilliant and you can't stop smiling like a kid at Toys R Us.
