Theres a nasty scratch on the lower fron horn of the body but the Price was just to good to pass up.

For the Neck- I ordered a maple w/ maple FB 70's large headstocked Warmoth neck. That should arrive within 3- 4 weeks :(

The next thing left to do is order a Chrome OFR and take out the trem studs and redrill for the OFR.

I still need to order Tuners and an Imput jack too.

other then that this guitar should be done within a month :)

Mr. TO helped me decided on the 70's big headstock which I think is gonna look badass.

So thanks TO

the pickguard is killer! but it doesnt fit as well as warmoth's do. and the space between the bridge and the bridge pickup is really tiny. I might have to a little work to get the pickguard to fit after I install the floyd and neck.

Mmmm,I get the same problem with WD stuff especially the neck cut out and switch cut out.....they always need filing to get to fit.Allparts ones, although nothing like the choice, always fit.........mind you they're almost twice the price!

I guess it's the old saying "you get what you pay for", but that strat's gonna kick ass!

surely it can't be that difficulat to make a pickguard that fits! yu'd check that it fits before you put it into production, no? :? people always seem to make a big deal out of pickguards, and price them stupidly high; i mean, its just a bit of plastic, surely it's not THAT tough to do. what have i missed?

They have to be blessed by 3 different priests, sent off to aeronautical labs for stress testing. Then lastly they're checked by a panel of 4 to 56 psychics for any signs of a "presence", then if it all checks out you've got a pickguard that may or may not fit perfectly.
