Title: Recommended guitar techs in South West UK?
Post by: Nolly on August 13, 2008, 11:41:19 AM
Hi guys,

Does anyone have any recommendations for guitar techs in the area around Bath/Bristol? I usually use the in-house tech at Vintage and Rare Bath, but he's got a backlog, can be quite hard to get hold of.

I need to have a guitar fully set up for a new tuning, truss-rod adjustment and all that stuff. Fast turnaround would be a major bonus as well.

I think WezV is around this area, perhaps he would be up for it?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Ah dang, thought you were down Somerset way..

At the moment it's looking like the best option is to take the guitar to the luthier, who'd do it for free. Train fare to London and back would be equivalent to most places set-up charge anyway.

Just stay away from Denmark Street, or it could get expensive.  As I found out last week!
