UPDATE: Just recorded a quick (very) rough-sounding video of the amp. Excuse the rather dodgy playing and the clipping (I'll have to experiment with the positioning of the camera in future). But it gives you an idea of the sound anyway!
Here it is:

Just a little update on the amp front. Now have a matching Martamp cab for my Ceriatone/Martamp plexi.
Sounds truly awesome!!!!  What do you reckon chaps?
EDIT: And I should say; I can thoroughly recommend Martamp- great amps and great service. :)

Niiiiiiiiiiice

That looks amazing.

Looks awesome :) Do those martamp plexis need to be really loud to sound good or is it possible to get a good overdrive sound at a reasonable volume?
-
That looks sooo goood
nicer orange than the one on an orange.
-
mmm
-
Cheers guys!
Tom: Clean to mild overdrive is great at low volumes, but if you crank the gain (channel volume really) too much it gets a bit buzzy and that's when you need to raise the Master (which is where it really comes into it's own!!!).
-
Glad it got there safe! And fast too....24 hours for a 48 hour service; Good old Parcelforce :D
Looks great with the amp, and at last you've got something decent to run it through.
Cheers! :D

Just sent you an e-mail Martin :)
Yeah the first chord blew me away after being so used to that not-so-good 1x12! :D
-
what brand was the not-so-good 1x12? What speakers have you got in the new cab?
and you're wrong - the 'C' is quite exciting ;)
-
:)
It was either a Behringer or a Kustom, Gwem, borrowed from a mate of mine. Had an old Fane speaker I think. 'Twas pants, whatever it was!
Speakers in the new cab are Celestion Hot 100s (G12 T-100s?).
:)

That's an amazing looking setup you've got there!
-
Awesome Sambo :D
Bet your rig sounds great now!
-
That looks amazing.
+1
red in marshall-style amps looks badass EDIT: or is it orange? i think i'm blind...
-
Dave (mc)- yep it's Orange! Although the second pic is quite saturated which makes it almost red(ish).
And yes my rig (it's the first time I feel my gear is worthy of the term 'rig' ) does sound great now! Just been experimenting a bit and found the ultra-sweet spot for leads.
I might try and record a clip on a little video-camera if it sounds ok.
-
And there was me thinking it was a new capo day (that would be considered not very exciting!!)
-
And I thought perhaps that you had bought a new bag of crisps. That rig looks great Sam.
-
I was thinking capo aswell. Indeed that rig looks very nice :)
-
Makes me want a martamp or matamp cab
-
yeah, it looks a bit more orange now. still looks great :)
-
I was thinking New Coat Day. Or maybe New Cat Day, that would've been nice.
Mildly disappointed to see it's a cab, but it is a very smart one.

Now New Cat Day would have been VERY exciting! :) We've had a couple of those on here in the past, if I remember correctly.

ohh I'm currently gas-ing for a lovely browncoat I've seen,it's got buttons & everything!
I'll get me coat ;)

Amp looks gorgeous, Tone is great, and man: you got it in the fingers!!
Great attitude and chops there. If I'd happen to crash on a concert of yours, I could listen to that rippin Les Paul crunch for hours!

Thanks man!!! :D Same to you!

Finally got to watch vid now at home..great..shame about vid clipping...could you also do a clean clip..*S*
-
Yeah I'll do a clean clip and a better overdrive one at some point. I re-strung my LP yesterday but snapped the top E within 30 minutes (doh!), so the clips may have to wait a while.
