Well, not really, I've had the guitar for a few weeks, but I've just received a new HSS scratchplate from Bob at Legra, and bolted it all together.
I tested it the other night with Twinfan (along with his superb new Tele) and I'm very pleased with the results. The swamp ash body lends it a slightly more hollow tone, but the bridge HB is a great rock sound. The SC's are good and surprisingly Strat-y.
TF said it was the best sounding guitar I've got
All in all, a really versatile guitar that really suits me. So much so I'm getting another scratchplate made for my other SG! 8)

An HSS SG in Strat colours.... sounds so wrong, but looks so right. :D

Yep, it's a great axe you've got :) Suits you down to the ground, and looks cool!

yup with Philly here wrong but so right

Very cool. Wrong and right at the same time. Is that a fender chicken head knob you have as the pup selector?
-
Thanks! :)
Ian, the chickenhead cam with the guitar....it's standard on all the Gibson SG 3 pickup models.
The last position is cool; it's neck and bridge in series. Now that there's a HB in the bridge, you get an amazing Brian May lead sound!
The pickups are superb too!

Looks great - what pickups are they?

Sadly not BKPs in this case.
Another British Made hand wound set, not sure if I can mention the make. Fairly close to an Al IV Stormy Monday and a pair of Mother's Milks
