...but why has he started talking as if he's a Dutchman struggling with English as a second language? He's only been there five minutes.

The Faces tonight-just got back from a gig where I played well and I am a bit "up" from that so Rod and the boys are helping me to chill.

Shouldn't this be in the "what are you listening to" thread Mr 38th!

Oh god I am so "up" I posted in the wrong forum...sorry Philly! The Mclaren clip was funny- what a dummy!

McLaren is truly a clown. He always seemed more interested in his media image than anything else - although saying "we are masshive underdogsh" really won't help him.
-
I wonder if he has had a smoke and a pancake ?
-
Now that is funny ! What a serious plonker the guy is.

The umbrella thing got me!
His team's performing badly, qualification is in doubt, leadership is needed, and all he can think of to try and motivate them is to stand at the side of the pitch, hands in pockets, worrying about getting wet hair! Inept Ponce!
Having said that, the real culprits are the cigar-smoking, port-swilling bloaters at the FA. They gave the muppet the job, despite his record of achieving SFA.

funny video :D. in fairness, he was probably speaking slowly and simply to be understood by dutch people. on the otherhand, no excuse for the lame-o dutch accent - and furthermore i've never met a dutch person who spoke anything other than top notch english.
-
Apart from anything else, the interviewer speaks better English than he does.
He's basically doing what my stepmum does when she's on holiday - goes into a shop, says "hello" in a strangled version of the local lingo, then speaks English very loudly and slowly in a peculiar accent as if they'll somehow magically hear a translation in their heads.
