The postman bought my Crawler/Irish Tour/Irish Tour loaded scratchplate this morning :D
They woke my dad up at 7:45 to accept the parcel :? He wasn't best pleased but I am :D
Unfortunately (through no fault of Tim's) my Tremolo unit is on back order and will be between 3 and 4 weeks, but I'm still going to install the pickups and just swap the tremolo units over at a later date :)
I'll be sure to post clips when I get the guitar routed out enough to accept the pickups :)

A year?! In just 12 weeks you're going to have the most killer axe!!

I try to get orders out as quick as possible, generally within a couple of days.Demand is extremely high and we are very busy all the time so if we occasionally exceed that time I apologise although I think it's best not to rush and compromise the pickups.Whatever happens though you can be sure our utmost attention goes into every order we do :) .

Thanx for the replies guys.
After careful inspection, and deciding that the Browcaster would take too much routing inorder to accomodate the HSS pickups, I've decided to move my 'regular' SSS strat scratchplate and pickups over to the BC and to give my HSS BK setup a try in my swimming pool routed 1993 Fender Strat Plus :)
I do have a few reservations as regards the different woods involved etc, btu I spoke to Tim and he seems to think that everything will be ok :)
If it's not, I'll just route the BC for HSS and switch them back :D

Hope they sound good! Well you're not on msn so that must be a good sign

I'm not the richest guy. I have to save up for months to get a set of BKP's. A couple of days extra waiting time won't hurt me at all.

It's funny, making pickups for myself takes ages as there's very rarely any free time.
It's Sunday and I've just put together 3 humbucker sets and finally done an extra set for a LP that I've been wanting to do for ALONG time!! :drink:

What pickups did you make for yourself Tim?
Are these for your live axes?

Ah ha, they're new prototypes. I'm not saying anymore at the moment but I'd loaded one of my live geetars with them and really love them, now I need to do it again with another one to check consistency. This kind of thing takes such a long time, especially these days as it's getting harder and harder to find a free time window.I literally have to book out some R&D time for myself ! Still, not complaining :D

Damn, how'd you find out!

I have my sources, none very reliable!
How many times a month do you gig Tim?Sorry off topic but just curious.

Hey guys.
I've been working all day so haven't had a chance to switch around the scratchplates on my Strats, btu I plan on doing it within the next few days.
The SSS scratchplate has an EMG Afterburner inplace of 1 of the tone controls. Does anyone know how to disconnect 1 of these from the control jack so I can switch the scratchplates over?
