Just played the new metallica track 'the day that never comes'.... it's awesome!!!

Nearly 8mins long, has a good solo, good riffs, harmonies etc..

Get on the Radio 1 website for 7:30, it's being played again!

Looking forward to the new album now!

i saw them in Dublin on Wednesday night! good show, mr Hetfield's voice was the best i've ever heard it live and they've finally learnt to use a bit less distortion on the rhythm guitars so you can actually make out what they're playing  :lol:

they played Cyanide.  to me it seems like they've taken what they did with St. Anger and added back in some of their older style.  hard to say from just hearing it once of course, but it seemed like a pretty good song.  i tried the Myspace site, but the quality's so low  i couldn't bare to listen! i'll wait for the album.  only question now is do i get the rather overpriced coffin box? and has anyone seen the price of the vinyl version!?!? over £50! madness!

Just came back from Reading, live Cyanide was pretty damn good tbh. Not great though, good to see they're good live again though.

OOOO thats better, a bit of old school thrash styleee.
The phrasing on the vocals 2.40 in reminds me of Reign in Blood era Slayer, the rest doesn't mind you.

OUt of the three released i dislike the latest the most

All it is really is st anger riffage with a better drum sound and a solo/

Even though I'm hearing through a cr@ppy speaker of my spare antique computer (my normal one's in the shop), I like this.

There might be hope for this album still.
