Title: E-cheque
Post by: Woogie on August 26, 2008, 10:11:32 PM
How do I explain to someone how to pay via e-cheque? Costs me £3 yes?

Cheers

If it's through eBay, I think they just go to pay via PayPal and then choose "other funding options".  But not totally sure, I've been paid by eCheque but never made a payment myself.

I think it costs you £3.50, unless they've changed it in the last few months.  And you'll have to wait a week or so for the payment to clear.

Can anyone confirm this cos I need to explain it to the buyer

Do I send the invoice when I`ve told him how also?

Just get the buyer to click on it when it says how to fund the payment. If it goes wrong, you or they can cancel the payment and try again with no loss

So send the invoice and message the seller saying "Hi, just click on the e-cheque on the funding options page"

Sound good?

That sounds about right. Remember that a Paypal echeque takes 10 days to clear !
