I just saw the new prototype humbucker in the gallery.
Are those gold screws and slugs in there? What do they do for the sound?
Looks cool. 8)

Well spotted Ratty, they're still my fav soft iron but simply gold plated so sonically there's no difference to the nickel plated soft iron I usually use.
It's another option we're going to be able to offer, nice if you've got gold hard ware :D

Thanks Tim. It sure looks pretty. I'll be looking forward to hear those puppies in action. :P

Well, as with any new design, I'm gig testing these now.In fact I've alot to test as Steve's new signature model is in the closing stages too, just waiting on the final thumbs up and I'm also looking at a new Strat set but that may well not surface until new year.........all good fun though.
I'm working hard as the new website design is coming along nicely and I'm looking at finalising any spec changes or areas where I feel things need to be addressed tonally.
It's always tempting to introduce millions of models but I'm trying to make sure that the range we offer stays relevant whilst at the same time caters for all requirements and stays sonically at the front of the field.

Tim just said, they're normal soft iron polepieces except gold plated so they look blingin'.
