Title: best guitar under for £250 for severe modding!

The only condition is it must have a mahogany body.

So far I been looking at the following

Gibson melody maker

whatever I get, it will be in for a severe pimping!! Tuners, electronics, bridge and of course BKPs.

So.. any other ideas/opinions? Have any of you guys tried either of the above?

Unfortunately it’s got to be mahogany in the body department. Plus I’m all tele’d up at the moment  :D

You could have my PRS SE Custom in black if you wanted for £250, i'm in such dire need of cash right now, lol...
