£5 a ticket, i was in the upper tier seats because standing and lower tier sold out in minutes, i thought being that high up would suck, but it was epic!
They had the cool stage where it's right in the middle and everyone gathers round it. Solid performance too. Played quite a bit of Death Magnetic and we also got a few unusual ones like Until it Sleeps, Jump in the fire and the almighty BLACKENED.
Got a few pics, was pissed so they are really rubbish haha.
Before the gig:

You had to be a member of some metallica thing which costs £20 though

Nope you had to be a member of mission metallica which cost nothing.
I really wanted to go but couldnt risk turning up to my training course knackered.

Hmm not what my friends said who went, oh well. Don't really like Metallica anyway :P. Looks like a cool stage setup though!

if the tickets sold out in mins then you had to be a premium member or something, the tickets were all sold out by the time the "free" members got a chance.

did they jam with joules?

Nah i was a free member and i got them, so did my other mates. In fact when i turned up at my towns train station there were loads of people there who went who i know aren't platinum members. It was fairly easy to get tickets if you were a free member, but to get standing/lower tier tickets was a bitch.
