This has just been brought to my attension:
http://www.moogmusic.com/moogguitar/?section=product&product_id=21130
aside from the insane price tag and the moogish synth, the idea of having an unsustainer to make the guitar a staccato monster makes me want to run naked on the streets shouting "eureka"
do you know of anyone that can make such a sustainer?
I want one so bad...

It's interesting to say the least (pug ugly though) but if it works it would be so good in the right hands
Seems to be like a Fernandes cos it needs both pickups on to work
I guess it could be using a hex driver in the neck pickup though in theory you could use piezo crystals to drive strings (but the bridge is such a bad position to power the string from)
What real interests me is why it states that the design MUST have a set neck
I wonder what the patent numbers are as they are available for examination by interested parties

check out sustaniac pickups, similar concept

I don't think it is that bad, but the control "panel" is a bit odd. I think the tigereye flame looks quite nice. My only problem with it is the price. I could buy a tricked out Feline and a really nice tube amp for that price. So in the end, Moog Guitar = Fail.
