Title: BKP P91 & 92 doing rough stuff (clip)
Post by: hunter on September 21, 2008, 10:05:57 AM
_tom_s post inspired me to dig out the P-type again, nice and edgy - the purrfect rhythm pickup really, but has also good solo bite. It's more of a fight compared to Humbuckers, but that can be a good thing.

Gibson Les Paul Special as shown on the pic below. (MP3 is below the pic download)

+1 on that !

The B.K.P P90 /91 /92 / M.Q range is an oft overlooked treasure.  They are so flexible in what they can achieve. The  M.Qs I put in my semi acoustic certainly opened my eyes ( and ears ) to them.  Great demo Hunter !  :D

Very nice :) I think p90s may be my favourite pickups right now, they have everything just right. Fatness and push of a humbucker with the clarity and light twang of a good singlecoil. You should try a pig 90 in your SG, I love mine in my all mahogany LP, really versatile.
