OK, it's self inflicted.
<whinge>
Somthing to do with the end of another sh!tty week, working my arse off for "da man" (or rather a large and aggressive bank, beginning with the letter "B", recently in the news for buying another large (but failing) bank beginning with the letter "L"), putting in stupid hours because of "market conditions", working weekends, not seeing my kids, not seeing my wife, sex being a thing of the past, no time to play my guitar, eating badly, not having enough time to go training, so putting on weight.
So I drank way too much last night, wine and whiskey. And I feel bad this morning.
But I got the call that me and my team aren't needed in this weekend, so that's something.

i feel your pain... training sort of goes out of the window when work comes into it.. sometimes i manage to get out of bed at about 5:30 and go for a run before work.. but its not often enough. I had a pretty much alcohol fueled night last night... feeling a bit iffy as i dont generally drink anymore... not often anyway.

it was doubles for singles on the shots last night... i think i am still drunk!!

soddin barmaid last night couldnt pour a shot.. i had to explain to her that pouring some whiskey in a measure does not make it a shot, you have to fill it. no wonder the drinks tasted like soft drinks, then she tried to claim i only asked for a double and a single.. when i watched her pour two half assed shots in and charged me for two doubles.
cant get the bar staff these days. although its not a hard job.. it was a fun job when i did it.

I did go training (using the term loosely) last night, and I'm not sure what's worse - a hangover or shin splints. :(

There are contracts and regulations for things like working hours and employee protection, also you employer has more benefit from a healthy mind and body employee rather than a stretched out wreck. Make sure you look after yourself and family first ...

I hope you feel better soon- drink plenty of water. I had a great tim elast nigth- a gig and I enjoyed myself a great deal. Gotta leave for another in a few minutes and looking forward to that also.

Yes, feeling better and far less sorry for myself now.
Even had a chance to work on my build project a little (made the pickguard, mounted the pickup and pots, gave the body a final sand, and put on the first coat of Danish Oil!)
Will lay off the alch-e-hol tonight, I think.

I wnet to a wedding at the weekend. The wife left me alone for 10 minutes and when she came back I was sitting at the bar with a couple of strangers, knocking back our fourth sambuca each. It was all the strange womans fault, I was happy on the stella before that. Got really too drunk and ended up at some cr@ppy nightclub in Buxton.
Come 3am, I was back at the inlaws house decorating the inside of the bog a nice colour of vomit orange.
When I was a barman, I used to larf at the the people all knocking down sambuca as they were invariably total knobheads. Can't believe I joined idiots. Had a bloody good night though 8)
Oh yeah, I had to go out with the inlaws for dinner the next day as it's the mothering laws birthday today. I had one glass of lemonade and about two mouthfuls of pizza. Had to watch the rest of them eating, it wasn't the most pleasent experiance of my life.

Since I was put on new asthma meds I have been totally unable to drink beer
1 beer and I'm sick for the next 36 hours :(

Went to the pub quiz last night........ not feeling too clever again this morning.
TBH though, I think I'm ill and not just hungover.

I've been feeling dodgy since i got back to uni.
Had a constant headache and stomach ache since last Tuesday and I'm sick of it! I want to get pissed.

Drink it into submission, it's the only way to get rid a cold. Treat you body so badly that nothing would want to carry on living in it :D
